This past Saturday, I was a "pro" in our campus version of Dancing With the Stars. My partner was Bram van Heuveln, one of our professors of Cognitive Science.
We performed (an adorable) Foxtrot to "You've Got a Friend in Me" by Randy Newman.
All of the Stars did an AMAZING job - I'm so proud of them for all their hard work and I'm also really proud of my fellow ballroom team members for all the work they put into teaching.
The event had a great turn out and it was filmed by RPI TV - the video footage is available online here. (It's a little long so if you don't want to watch the whole thing, Bram and I are somewhere around minute 48.)

It was so much fun and the whole group of Stars/Pros were great - I'm hoping that we can plan some kind of celebration outing for everyone (perhaps going out dancing somewhere??).
